In Review: Sephora Pearl Mask

I decided that my skin needed a bit of pampering after a weekend outside in the sun. I have been enjoying face masks lately and wanted to try a new one. The Sephora Pearl Mask is a fiber mask that comes soaked in the 'product'. You take it out of the packaging and place the mask onto your face---adjusting as needed.

First impressions

Taking the mask out of the packaging I noticed it had a lot of product which I like. The mask didn't have any noticeable scent. The fiber portion of the mask was quite substantial. I had to take about 3-4 minutes adjusting the different tabs to get it to sit on my face properly.

Letting it Soak In

It felt cool and soothing. It is recommended you leave the mask on for about 15 minutes. I put the mask on and turned on a show so it ended up being on about 20 minutes. I love that this mask felt like it was nourishing my skin. When I took the mask off I massaged the extra product into my skin like a moisturizer as the directions indicate that you don't need to wash it off. I noticed that my skin looked healthier. There was less redness overall and a slightly noticeable brightness to my skin.

Later I rinsed my skin to prepare for my normal night time skincare routine and felt that my skin was softer and had a generally improved appearance.

Overall, I really enjoyed this mask. I wish there was less fiber to adjust to put it on, but other than that I think it's a great addition to any night of pampering!
